The Challenge: High-Impact Display with Low-Stress Logistics
Gill Group required a professional, high-capacity exhibition presence for an upcoming trade show in Vienna. Having previously experienced the efficiency of the tool-free CubeLock system, the team knew it was the only solution capable of meeting their three core requirements:
- Product Showcase Display: The stand needed to incorporate extensive integrated shelving to showcase their physical units effectively.
- Lead Generation Hub: A large, prominent counter was essential to serve as a central point for visitor engagement.
- Cross-Border Portability: The kit had to be simple enough for the team to ship to Austria, assemble without specialist tools, and return to the UK for future use.
The Solution: A tailored CubeLock modular stand
To meet the one-month deadline, we designed a modular CubeLock stand tailored to Gill Group’s specific product dimensions.
- Integrated Shelving & Storage Room: We utilized the CubeLock frame to build robust shelving directly into the back-wall, ensuring products were at eye-level without cluttering the floor space.
- The “Large Format” Counter: A custom-sized counter was provided to act as a professional reception area, large enough for multiple team members to handle inquiries simultaneously.
- Intuitive Assembly: The “twist-and-lock” mechanism allowed the Gill Group team to build the entire stand in Vienna themselves, bypassing the need for expensive local contractors.
The Success: From the UK to Vienna and Back
The project was a logistical and visual success. The stand provided a “custom-built” look with the flexibility of a portable kit.
- Logistical Ease: The entire system packed down into wheelable transport cases, making the international transit to Austria seamless.
- Long-Term Asset: After the Vienna show, the stand was dismantled and returned to the UK. Its modular nature means Gill Group can now reconfigure the same hardware for smaller or larger booth spaces in the future.
- Brand Consistency: The high-quality finish ensured Gill Group maintained a premium image on the international stage, consistent with their reputation in the UK.
Sustainabily – the Cubelock tool free modular stand building system, is designed to be used time and again, supplied in flightcases its easy to ship and configure to other shapes and sizes for future proof investment and changing requirments. With the core framework material being aluminium this can ultimately be fully recycled.
